Good luck to all who enter

Let me share my inspiration card with you all.

I decided to stamp a scene but to overlay it with vellum to downplay the scene and make the sentiment more prominent.

The background is stamped 2 times using a Stampscapes stamp. I also stamped a tall pine onto a piece of a dictionary page and centered that over the stamped scene.I then added a layer of vellum to make that scene very faint. I attached the vellum to my panel with brads and them attached the panel to the card front.

This card would also be a great guy card, wouldn't it!

The sentiment is stamped on a label shape on white CS and then I added the same sized shape as a highlight using a dark green  CS.

LET ME SHARE WITH YOU THE I SUPPLIES USED ON MY PROJECT

Love it Barb. The vellum overlay is a great idea. Giving the beautiful sentiment center stage. Yes, it would be an awesome guys card.

Beautiful masculine card. I love the vellum overlay - it looks like you're looking at a forest on a foggy morning. Thanks for joining us at The Challenge!
