Crafty Creations Challenge - #331 - Any Holiday

Hello everyone and welcome back

Today is the start  challenge #331 over at Crafty Creations Challenges and the theme is Any Holiday.  So if you are really DONE with Christmas cards you can choose another holiday,
Valentines Day, Easter, 4th of July.......the list goes on.
For this challenge, I am the sponsor and will be sending the winner a new stamp set from
My Sentiments Exactly.
So, get a project made and submit it over at Crafty Creations Challenges.
You could be the winner.

Well because I am still in the Christmas mode and need a few more cards to be able to send out,
I decided to come up with another Christmas card.

And if you are still in need of a card design here is one for you.
Let me start by sharing how the card base is made.

This card started out as a 12X12 piece of scrapbook paper.

I folded it in half horizontally

and then folded that half, vertically in half.

Folded, this is now a 6X6 card

Next I folded the front of the card diagonally.

The top fold line on the card gets pushed down and in
so that top fold line touches the horizontal (side) fold line.

This forms 2 triangles which now become your card front.
I attached the triangles together so the card front is all one piece (not like 2 pages).

Hope you were able to follow that. - LOL

Here is the card decorated.

I attached that stamped Santa panel in the center of the triangular card front.
That stamped panel on the front can be changed out with whatever you have on hand.

Here is the card opened up.

I then placed a part of the Christmas Carol on the red panel.
You notice it's  open a little and is not attached at the bottom.
Well that's because it will flip up to reveal the rest of the piece from the Christmas Carol.

Where to sign you ask, well, you could sign on the back of the stamped Santa Panel image.

In using a 12X12 piece of scrapbook paper you will wind up with a 6X6 card that does require extra postage. Instead of mailing it, enclose it with a gift in the box or the gift bag.

Hope you found this card design the perfect but unique design for your card making needs.

LET ME SHARE WITH YOU THE I SUPPLIES USED ON MY PROJECT
